Fellow radio broadcasters: don't you wish the iPad included an FM tuner, especially one capable of receiving HD? How did we miss this?

I have often wondered why we radio broadcasters didn't long ago enlist those who grew up on the West coast to approach Steve Jobs about putting his genius to work in helping our great industry evolve and participate in the "new media" explosion (and on his platform of devices). You just know that Baby Boomer Jobs came up listening to and being positively impacted by radio and one or more stations in particular. You gotta believe he has a soft spot for some of those old stations from his youth (not that he ain't still pretty young). I have to believe if we would have researched his station preferences and approached him appropriately (maybe via a hip-at-the-time, influential jock he listened to back in the day) that he may have been real receptive. Maybe it's not too late? Maybe someone did this and I'm just not aware of it ... Does anyone know if Jobs has been reached regarding radio? How bout his new # 1 (and # 1 in line to take over)? - I'm drawing a blank on his name just now but I think he's originally from Augusta. I could see a customized, psychodelic (sp?) iPad showing up in Cupertino for Jobs and/or the # 1 with a well-concieved "elevator pitch" using some vintage logos, sweepers, stingers, old tv spots, billboard shots (I'm from ATL but I still remember a campaign for KFOG - just had their logo and said "Removes Hair" ... isn't Jobs from San Fran?) and jock clips sequeing into a couple of his favorite artists (Beatles?, Dylan?, Spencer Davis Group?, Kinks?, who knows) all produced from archives of one or two of the stations he would have listened to wherever he was living during his formative teens, early 20's to early 30's. Crazy maybe but maybe just "far-out" enough to work. Info anyone? Thoughts anyone?
